The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast gravy was delicious. The breakfast sausages were a little salty and the coffee could be better. However, overall the breakfast was pretty good and delicious. The Wifi kept glitching and the TV lagged a lot. But the stay was nice and welcoming.
Front desk attendant was very welcoming, and friendly. clean lobby, room was nice also clean. Refrigerator didn't work properly I'd say a 8 out of ten.. only because the Continental breakfast as soon as I got to my room boooy I had to two step it to the restroom! Ran right threw me and then it hit my sister's too
Nicer that anticipated. Neighborhood around the LaQuinta was a bit questionable. Wyndham needs to purchase property in downtown CLE. This is your only good option. Rooms were very nice and also clean.
Initially I had some issues with getting some modifications made to an existing reservation.. once resolved I left a review stating how I couldn't wait to confront the rudeness I received from one of the employees... upon ACTUAL arrival I was not blown away BUT I did and could appreciate the hard work from ALL the employees to make such a busy weekend run smoothly for their guests! As someone who works behind the front desk I know the stress they must feel during sporting events and I must say that those who did work that weekend made it run flawlessly! My room was clean but the bathroom could have used more attention along the edges and because of my INITIAL first impression is why I am not rating 5 stars..
Rooms are fine - comfortable beds, good climate control. Breakfast is very good - waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, eggs, etc. There must be an issue with rowdy guests because there was a damage deposit that was more than the cost of the room, but we didn’t witness any wildness. Certainly the best price you’re going to find for anything close to th airport!
It's a budget airport hotel, but a good one. Great value for money. 1) The free airport shuttle is staffed by hotel staff - the same ones that work the front desk. Follow signs at the airport to the shuttles - easy pickup, on time. Reliable. Fantastic shuttle. Call the hotel to schedule a pickup. It runs ever 30 min. Shuttle also can take you to rental car center. 2) Rooms are clean enough and have what you need. Everything worked. Nothing fancy, but very acceptable. Mattress was a little worn out, but was good overall. 3) Breakfast- a free hot breakfast (Eggs, Sausage, Potatoes, Waffle Maker, Oatmeal Packets, Cereal, Cereal Bar, Yoghurt, Breads, Maybe an apple or orange, machine Apple/Orange juice) - 6AM - 9AM daily. 4) Location - You can walk to the red line train (super close) which will take you downtown and such - so if you want a quick escape from the airport area... There's an option for that. Otherwise, you're not in immediate walking distance to much. 5) Rental Car / Parking - They have a big parking lot, and run some program I think for locals that live far away from the airport... they can drive there, stay there, park their car there, and they shuttle to/from the airport. Makes sense, and seems like a nice service. Their shuttle will also take you to the rental car center, so if you decide you need a car, this could be helpful. 6) Staff - All the staff seem to care, and try to do a good job. You don't have to be a fancy and expensive place to be a good place, and they prove it. Every employee had a good attitude, and a brain - which is more than I can say for many hotels. I would stay again without hesitation.
I’ve stayed in many La Quinta hotels and was hesitant about booking this stay due to the lower reviews. I’m glad I booked. The hotel is clean, comfortable, great breakfast, with friendly staff. I appreciated the free parking being very well lit. Overall, highly recommend for a stay in Cleveland.
Free breakfast buffet! Free shuttle service to Airport and the hospital! Clean! Excellent staff. They are attentive to your every need. Front desk clerk Dysia went above and beyond to help me, a senior with mobility problems.
